Congratulations to Terry O’Malley (Central Bank of Ireland) on winning the Conniffe prize for the best paper by a young economist at the 2017 Irish Economic Association Annual Meeting. Terry received the prize for his paper titled “Moral Hazard in the Mortgage Market: The Impact of Foreclosure Moratoria on Default.”
