Congratulations to Andrea Guariso (Trinity College Dublin), Martina Björkman Nyqvist (Stockholm School of Economics), Jakob Svensson (Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES), Stockholm University), and David Yanagizawa-Drott (University of Zurich) on winning the Novartis prize for the best paper in Health Economics at the 2017 Irish Economic Association annual Meeting. The winning paper was titled “Reducing Child Mortality in the Last Mile: A Randomized Social Entrepreneurship Intervention in Uganda .”
