Call for Papers / June 2022 ‘Beeronomics’ Conference, Dublin

The IEA is delighted to promote the 7th Beeronomics Conference (and associated Call for Papers). This Conference will be held in Dublin in June 2022 and will be jointed hosted by University College Dublin (UCD) and Trinity College Dublin (TCD). 20-23 June 2022 Beeronomics Conference

Organised by the Beeronomics Society, UCD and TCD, the 7th Beeronomics Conference will take place at Trinity’s Business School.

Beeronomics 2022 welcomes all research papers of high quality related to the economics of beer and brewing. The conference will feature the following topics:

The economics of production and consumption
International and regional distribution and trade
Industrial organisation
Management, marketing and market structure
Beer consumption, beer choice and health
Economic history, law and regulation
Innovation, impact of beer on society and culture

Submission

Participants of the Beeronomics 2022 Conference are invited to submit their abstract and paper via the conference submission system.

First you will have to register in EasyChair, or to log into your existing account if you have one, and then you should be able to submit your abstract. In terms of requirements, please note the following:

Abstract submissions should be between 350 to 500 words max; not exceeding 2 pages.
In your abstract submission you should provide a clear explanation of what will be presented at the conference; include a discussion of the relevance of the topic, research methodology, main findings, and potential future research directions, limitations, etc.
The system only accepts PDF documents; preferable exclude author(s)’ details in the abstract document submission

Deadline

The deadline for submission of extended abstracts is Tuesday, 15 March 2022. We will notify acceptance decisions by Friday, 18 March 2022. See important dates, below.

Organising Committee

The local organisers are members of the School of Economics and the Spatial Dynamics Lab (UCD) and Trinity Business School (TCD).
